CALL MEETING TO ORDER - FLAG SALUTE- Serena opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance.
AGENDA ADJUSTMENTS – None
APPROVE MINUTES – August 04, 2026, Minutes- A motion was made and seconded to accept the minutes as written. Motion passed unanimously.
4. WARRANTS- A. Payroll- #28-$3,954.88
B. Accts. Payable- #29-$ 15,326.72
The Board reviewed and approved the warrants. The Board signed the warrants.
OLD BUSINESS- Update on speed signs. Serena gave Tim a big thank you for his diligence for requesting and acquiring flashing speed limit signs on Route 9 - both sides of Route 7. Tim said between his calls and Serena’s calls “bugging” people he received a call that Dixmont would get the signs at no cost to Dixmont. They hope to have them done in a month.
PUBLIC WORKS- Tim has bush hogged the Transfer Station and sent pictures to D.E.P. He has been cutting roadside brush on Mitchell Road, part of Garland Road, Miles Road. He will continue with others.
DITCHING & CALCIUM- A question was asked if it was okay for people to personally put down calcium in front of their own property. Tim said yes. A few individuals contact Tim and he gave the okay. Tim said he would like to do all roads, but it is not in his budget. Tim said Serena has given him a guy in Clinton that applies calcium. He is going to look into his prices for next year.
PUBLIC SAFETY- Dude Hopkins said it’s been Quiet.
REC DIRECTOR POSITION/PROPOSAL- Did not show.
UARRC LETTER- See attached.- The board reviewed approved the letter. Julie will send.
BOSTON POST CANE- Christine McLain is next in line for oldest resident. Julie will contact family members to coordinate an appropriate time for the presentation.
MISC/PUBLIC COMMENT— Janice Boyd voiced apprehension concerning tomorrow night’s vote.

C. Serena-only concern is the outcome of tomorrow night’s bond vote.
