ATV Club

The Dixmont ATV Club is a community organization dedicated to maintaining and promoting ATV trails in the Dixmont area. Club members work together to keep trails open, safe, and enjoyable for riders of all skill levels.

The club is part of Maine's extensive ATV trail network and works closely with the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife to ensure responsible trail use and land stewardship.

Dixmont offers ATV trails that connect to the broader central Maine trail system. Trails pass through scenic wooded areas and offer views of the surrounding countryside.

ATV Registration

All ATVs must be registered with the State of Maine. Registrations can be obtained at the Dixmont Town Office or online through the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.

• All riders must have a valid ATV registration
• Stay on marked trails at all times
• Respect private property and landowner rights
• Helmets are required for all riders under 18
• No alcohol or drug use while operating an ATV
• Maintain safe speeds and yield to other trail users
• Pack out all trash — leave no trace

Trail access depends on landowner permission. Irresponsible riding can result in trail closures for everyone.
