CALL MEETING TO ORDER - FLAG SALUTE- Serena opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance.

APPROVE MINUTES – May 05, 2026, Minutes- A motion was made and seconded to accept the minutes as written. The motion passed unanimously.
WARRANTS- A motion was made and seconded to accept the warrants as written. The motion passed unanimously.
A. Payroll Warrant #15 $5444.49
B. Accounts Payable Warrant #16 $41948.76
OLD BUSINESS- 143 Property – Randy will be sending a registered letter to property owner, explaining we have not received documentation (receipts of sewage pumping etc) that was requested, that the town will be coming in to clean the property resulting in a property tax lien.
PUBLIC WORKS- Tim gave an overview of what he is doing. Went to put the banner Randy Nason bought for the town, Tim went to attach the banner to 2 posts and the grommets ripped before it was fully up. Will be putting banner on the historical building. Trying to contact CMP for permission to put flags up on the CMP poles throughout town. Has called 3 times with no response. Asked Lois to post on rants and raves to see if anyone has a better contact. Also mentioned item#12 – See #12

PLANNING BOARD MEETING DATES-Planning board cannot meet on 6/9 due to election, they will be meeting 6/8/26 to finalize ordinance for the public hearing. Julie is checking on dates and timeline for ordinances to schedule special town meeting/public hearing.
SIGN-RUS19 BUDGET VALIDATION WARRANT- Selectboard signed all copies of school budget validation warrant.
ROAD ISSUES- Jewell Rd A troy resident had a tire blow on the troy end, wanted her tire paid for. She spoke with Tim, she also spoke with Serena and called David & John. Serena called her back and left her a message regarding the statues on town roads and vehicle damage. Have not heard back from her.
Right of Way issues – On Smith Rd A resident is upset with the plow crew messing up a section of their
lawn and also said 2 feet span of their lawn was taken away when road was graded and built-up last
summer and would like lawn redone. Tim said it is a 3 rod road and we have 24.75ft right of way from
centerline of road.
LETTER TO UARRC- Selectboard is going to draft a letter for beginning the withdrawal process. John will start drafting the letter.
MISC/PUBLIC COMMENT- Janice requested to have Memorial Day posted on the sign at the town office.
14. SELECTBOARD CONCERN:

C. Serena- Person called to put in a complaint about Old County Rd has a large dirt pile at the end
where it connects to 143. Resident would like to know when the road will be ditched and
graded. Tim said he will go check it out and Serena is going to call the resident back.
