SELECT BOARD MEETING AGENDA/MINUTES

03/03/2026

Present- Serena Bemis, David Bright, James Zimmerman, Shirlene Lindsey, Julie Bonin, Tim Rogers

Others present- Janice Boyd, Sandy Cromwell, Randy Nason, John Barry, Lois Rowe, Tom Rowe,Margarete Ebel.

CALL MEETING TO ORDER - FLAG SALUTE-Serena opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance.

AGENDA ADJUSTMENTS – NONE

APPROVE MINUTES – February 27, 2026 Minutes- A motion was made and seconded to accept the minutes as written. The motion passed unanimously.

4. WARRANTS - A. Payroll Warrant #5 $8540.76

B. Accounts Payable #6 $144,910.64

The Board reviewed and approved the warrants. The Board signed the warrants.

OLD BUSINESS- NONE

PUBLIC WORKS REPORT- Tim said things are slow right now. Tim said he is catching up on paperwork. The D.E.P inspection at the Transfer Station went well overall. They would like the old plastic culverts that are scattered around gone this year. They would also like an ash sample. Lois Rowe asked about posting the roads. Tim said he was planning to post this week.

PUBLIC SAFETY- NONE

SIGN EDITED TOWN MEETING WARRANT- The Board signed the edited warrant. This will be the official warrant.

STATE ROAD AGREEMENT/OVERWEIGHT PERMIT- The Board signed the agreement to waive weight limits for the State when repairing the culvert on Route 9 if necessary.

PROCESS FOR TOWN OWNED PROPERTY- Serena explained the process of selling town owned tax acquired property for clarification.

MISC/PUBLIC COMMENT-

Lois Rowe made a request to the Board to consider opening all town roads to ATV access. After some discussion, the request will be added to the next Selectboard Meeting Agenda.

Randy Nason will donate a banner to be put across the Town Office building concerning the Countries 250th anniversary.

SELECTBOARD CONCERN/COMMENTS:

A. DAVID- David was contacted concerning cleaning the generator at the Snowmobile and decided that it was not necessary due to lack of use.

B. JIM- said that he sent emails to the board and office staff, and no one has responded.

C. SERENA- NONE
